Those are the magical words. Suddenly Thancred has the entirety of G'raha's attention; there are few things he loves more than the subject of his study. Most people, especially in the wake of the Calamity, find it a luxury, all but useless when many cultures are trying to keep their own personal histories from being wiped away. ]

[ Thancred can't help but smile at the way G'raha snaps to attention. At least one thing in Hydaelyn is consistent. It is good to know the Miqo'te is as predictable as ever. Comforting, in its own way. ]

But at the same time, G'raha is bound to have useful information that might help them understand exactly what Lahabrea truly wanted out of Ultima - what he intended Gaius to do with it and ... well. [ There is that odd feeling, like he should be remembering something beyond the facts and inferences that came from scraps of ancient texts and the broken pieces of archeological sites. ]

With what evidence there is to study. It seems in the later years of the Empire, mechanical weapons replaced much of their flesh and blood force.

[ Thancred nods once. He was aware that the Allagans had uses a great number of mechanical weapons - every now and again they turned up here and there, especially near where pieces of Dalamud fell and, from what he understands, with extra frequency on the Carteneau Flats. But much beyond that he knows not. ]

What do you know of them? Their functions, fuel, construction...?
